Special Interests vs. Students

Special interest groups are taking the focus off our students’ experiences learning in the classroom. They need to re-examine why they got involved in public education and reorder their priorities. The first priority should be ensuring our students have experienced, qualified teachers in the classroom who have subject matter expertise, who know how to teach the content in understandable terms, know how to assess student knowledge and have the resources that support those.
